Stone by application

Start with the spec. Arrive at the right slab.

The room is a brief, not a wall. Compare hardness, absorption, acid resistance and finish, then approve the physical slab. Every stone in the catalog stays visible.

The Rosso method

Beauty gets attention, but fit is what makes the specification last.

Every application changes the brief. Water, acid, abrasion, climate, lighting and fabrication all influence which stone, and which physical slab, belongs in the project.

  1. 01

    Read the brief

Use, exposure, traffic and maintenance set the spec. They recommend a shortlist. They do not ban a stone from the room.

  2. 02

    Compare performance

Use absorption, hardness, acid sensitivity, finish and other relevant signals to narrow the material families.

  3. 03

    Approve the physical slab

Confirm movement, dimensions, current location, technical documentation and fabrication requirements on the selected piece.

Eight ways stone lives

Choose the surface you are designing.

Each guide brings together editorial direction, early technical criteria and currently represented inventory.

Help with the brief

Not sure where the brief lands? We'll build the shortlist with you.

Share the room, location, maintenance expectations and visual references. Rosso can help connect the design intent to the right current slabs.
